Blue Rose is an Country/Americana band based out of Chicago. Their original music, written by lead guitarist, Marcus Gebauer and lead vocalist, Jori Griffith, is described as relatable emotive story-telling with an edge. They write what they feel and feel what they write, inspiring listeners to connect and come along for the ride.  The two met by chance at a party in 2022.  Strangers, both lifelong musicians, wound up across the table from one another. Weeks later, they began writing together - a collaboration that only comes along once in a blue moon. Backed by bandmates Mike Gruber (keys), Nicholas Kapche (bass guitar), and Eric Matteson (drums),  they incorporate elements of folk, country, classic rock and indie jam, describing their sound as new country with an old soul. Blue Rose began recording their first studio album in late 2023 with Chicago producer Noam Wallenburg. Their album ‘Blue Moon’ is set to be released in the spring of 2025.  Singles off their album can be heard on Spotify and other streaming platforms.
